The world was a guest in Cologne. More than 150,000 visitors from all five continents met in the last 5 days at the Anuga, the world's leading trade fair for food in the Rhine metropolis. Specialties from over 120 countries faced the critical eyes and the palate of interested international experts. The traditional familybusiness Hörrlein Feinkost took part, as an original Franconian organization, which presented the typical Franconian specialty -horseradish. The Bavarian Minister for food, agriculture and forestry Helmut Brunner did make it to taste the original Franken-Kren by Hans-Peter Hörrlein and his wife Olga at their booth.
Hörrlein takes part at this fair regularly in Cologne since 1975, and thus is a constant ambassador of good taste from the home of carp and horseradish.
Interesting novelties, like the mustard-series with three different organic mustard varieties, and the fruit spread bar with unique fruit combinations had its premiere at this show. A big thank you to all who visited the booth.
